Damp,cold day in the garden today, but found this one which looks very much like Sphaerocera monilis in the Gallery. Size <4mm ish.

Was Cypsela and then Borborus - the latter was suppressed in 1997 in favour of Sphaerocera. Are you as confused as me now ?

More confused...but I'm working off a crap Checklist with out of date names....none of those on the list, so this is an unrecorded genus/species for Shetland.
