Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Therevidae?

I photographed this in a hedgerow bordered by hay meadows in Cheshire, UK. I initially thought it was a small Rhagionidae but it only has 2 pads on its feet. Is it possibly a Therevidae? Or something else entirely...

Hi Ray, it looks like Platypalpus (Hybotidae) to me (but I'm often wrong);)
