Hello flyforum,

Yesterday I saw 3 kinds of Stratiomyidae.

1) I think this is a male Chloromyia formosa

1 Perhaps Sargus? and female
2 Odontomyia cf. virudula
3 Nemotelus wild guess pantherinus

1 Chloromyia formosa female (at this angle abdomen is too wide for Sargus)
2 Oplodontha viridula male (no longer in Odontomyia)
3 Nemotelus notatus male (very considered opinion - beware of wild guesses - see cautionary tale at
