I photographed this fly near Bereguardo Pavia Italy. I think that it's a "Tachina" but what kind is it?
T. Fera or
T. magnicornis? Thanks.

Certainly
Tachina sp. but do you have any more angles - in particular something that shows the colour of the front tarsi better? :)

Hmm, it's a tricky one ...
magnicornis have very dark (almost black) front tarsi and a wide frons but it's hard to work those out from the photos ...
fera tarsi are supposed to be 'orange' but that can be quite brown in some specimens. I'll leave it for a better expert to give their opinion! ;)

Tachinidae are really difficult. If I had to express myself I would say that this is a
Tachina fera but some characters do not match. Thanks ChrisR! Waiting for the opinion of someone else.

I agree - if I was to guess I would say female
T.fera but just from the slightly pale front tarsi and the narrowish frons ... but let's wait for some other opinions ;)
