and here are the howerflies from today, visiting the flowers on my balcony:
Location: Switzerland, near Lake Zurich, 412 müM, balcony
Date, 07.10.09, today
size: about 9 mm?
I'll try to give an ID . . . (try and error - system) : is it Eristalis interrupta?
- saw and took pics today again from: Platycheirus albimanus, Syritta pipiens and Myathropa florea
