The Netherlands, 18 september 2009. Found on sandy riverbank.
Tries the male to attract attention of a female by showing this orange structure of Mouthparts?
Is this behaviour exclusive for this species?

Ah! Who could resist those lips? It does seem that it is part of the mating display. Great photos, great observation!
