Seen Hakon put a similar looking fly through here a couple of days ago, determined as Lasiomma.
Is this one same genus?

One for the study only !!
It seems to be Lasiomma female
But i can't see clearly if the prealar seta is longer or not.
When it is...it could be L.latipenne (large light greyish species)
When it is shorter, there are more species possible.

Joke ;)

Sorry Joke
Got my Homer Simpson head on at the moment, and IT hasn't got a clue what prealar seta are, or where to look for them.....DOH.

Hi Joke
It took Homer a while to find photo's of this fly that were of any use (I think they are what you're looking for, Homer's not sure).

Regards Roger

hope it's the right fly.....:|

It seems to be shorter.
Now we have a little problem, there are 4 species left now
(L.picipes /seminitidum,anthomyinum,strigilatum)
I only have one male L.anthomyinum, so i can't compare.
Do you want to go further, or are you happy with Lasiomma species, because it will be difficult and doubtfull when we go on...:o
