Hi!

At light in our garden (northwest Germany), about 8 mm. Can the genus be confirmed?

Looks like Culiseta annulata to me.

Thanks! I ruled out C. annulata, because I know them more disctinctively banded and considerably larger (> 10 mm). But that were mostly females...
