I have been trying to find the name of this Tachinidae. But I don't think this picture is good enough to find it.

Another possibility would be
Peleteria.

Yes, I'd say it looks more like
Peleteria because the hairy eys of
Linnaemya would normally be quite visible. A head shot would tell us more :)

As for Chris, my choice goes to
Peleteria. It could thus be
Peleteria varia. Only guessing...

Depends what weight the record has really ... if you just want a name on a photo then "
Peleteria varia (probably)" would be fine ... but if you wanted to send the record in to a recording scheme then I would say - don't ;)
This is mainly because any name on a photo like this is really only a guess and that's fine just for your own personal use but it is way too inexact for real recording :)
