Hi

My gut feeling says this is a Calliphoridae - maybe the Pollenia itself. It has 5 mm. But this fly seems to have subscutellum...

Could be Stomina (Tachinidae)

Could we get a really lateral shot of the head, please.

I will! At the moment I'm using a mercury light trap trying to see if I find here the Therobia... (very improbable but..). I will upload more photos during the hunting in my backyard.

A note on this fly: it was seen in a very high mountain at almost 1700 m maybe doing hilltopping. Not sure if this is usual for Stomina...

not dorsal view.. but it shows the subscutellum. In a few minutes I will show the dorsal abdomen.

well.. the absence of strong bristles (and it is not a phasiin..) makes more probable the Pollenia or similar.. :( I hope not.
