This fantastic neuropter was found at 2 am on 22nd August 2009 in Viseu.
It belongs to the Berothidae family and it is an
Isoscelipteron glaserellum

No way, this is photoshopped :D Never heard of this family, not found in Hungary. Hopefully in this year at the university I'll be able to spend some time in Portugal - hopefully I'll find some of the creatures You showed us :)

I only used the photoshop just to little a crop and no more! Usually I must change the levels but this was not the case! : ) The original photo is like we see here! ;)

Thanks! This neuropter is so photogenic so the merit is for this berothid. ;)
Surely in Switzerland there are also many wonderful insects! ;)
