Norway, 22.08.09 Both 7-8 mm
Therey were more shining blue than the pics suggest, about 1m between them

They look like Melinda (Calliphoridae) to me.

The second specimen (male) seems to have a narrow frons and has a presut. ia, so my guess is
M. gentilis. I can't add anything about the first one.
