This tiny syrphid posed for me for a while, which species is it? Figueira da Foz, Portugal.

Indeed, a male. And it is from the same subgenus as that female: Pandasyophthalmus.
Can be several species in Portugal, males separated mainly by characters of the sternites/genitals so would need the specimen for a certain ID.
