Hi,
Is it possible to ID this small one? I saw it in Berlin in April. Seems to have hairy eyes.
Many thanks, Sundew

Still 1:1 for Muscids (or Fanniids, resp.) : Anthomyiids ;)

It is Anthomyiid. I don't think it is Lasiomma.

Antho seems to win - that's bad... Perhaps Michael gives us a hint to a possible genus, which would make me quite happy.

Pretty sure it is Lasiomma anthomyinum. The eyes seem to have quite long hairs (especially if you enlarge the image), and the 2 grey presutural stripes also suggest Lasiomma

That's a really good end of discussion! Many thanks indeed to all participants. At last an Anthomyiid whose characters even I am able to keep in mind...
Kind regards, Sundew
