This is a very beautiful sarcophagid, a Paramacronychiin... that I found in sand dunes of Apulia. Also it is common in Espinho beach.

It doesn't look like a Paramacronychiinae.

Ah, I remember. We have seen this beauty once before on this forum.
It really looks like a Tachinidae, the name is well chosen.
