Good morning,

It's time for the weekly request from Heerlen.
This fly is from November, near Brunssum, 3-4 mm.

Many thanks in advance,

Ben

This looks like a Heleomyzidae, telling by the large bristles on the costa. I am not sure what species but Tephrochlamys rufiventis could be a good candidate.

I would say: Compare with http://www.dipter...page_id=10. That link is als accessible from http://www.dipter...ticle_id=5.

I thought you would say that you are even more convinced since I was not trying to persuade to think otherwise. :D

Probably the genus Heleomyza (if prosternal setae are present or Neoleria (if not)..:)
