Hello!
Can you identify this tachinid fly and its sex?
This fly is out of a natural garden in Offenbach, Hesse, Germany near the Main River, yesterday.
Thank you

The large pulvilli, the shalllow angle of the outer cross-veins and general shape of the fly all suggest that this is a sarcophagid. It appears to be a male.

And do you know, what a sarcophagid it is?
