Wow! I think it is aurata. From these pics you should be able to ID it yourself, if you buy the new Scandinavian Syrphid atlasses! :)
Since I am not completely sure, wait for a certain ID from someone familiar with Callicera. And after it, please donate your pics for the Syrphidae gallery?!

Iīll be glad to.

The first volume of Encyclopedia of hoverflies covers the subfamily Syrphinae. It is newly published, and the next volume will be published in december. So I have to wait.

I have sent the pictures to a swedish expert, too. But I guess he is on holliday - catching flies somewhere B)

One problem is, I donīt know how many spieses there are of Callicera in Sweden. Maybe only C. aurata and C. aenea?

Tarsus of aurata is dark, and femura as well. On C. aenea they are light. That indicates C.aurata (first picture). But I think the abdomen doesn't have the short golden hair. I donīt know. I guess I have to wait. :)

Callicera aurata, confirmed (H. Bartsch). Just as you said Andre. Thankyou for your answer Andre, and I will put her in the gallery. :)
