Hi, got this one today during my fly hunting trip. Is the id correct ? June 15.2009 Loviisa, Finland.

All metatarsi mostly yellow, then probably not B.chalybata, must be some other Beris.

Good point Alex, thank You. With yellow legs, dark hind coxa, wide frons and the chape of antenna it must be
strobli then :)

Yes, the choice is between B.strobli and B.geniculata. Check frons width and length of 3d antennal segment.

Yes I did. I'm satisfied with
strobli but
geniculata would have been new to Finland ;)
