June 09, 2009, Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region, Russia. Body size 11 to 12 mm. A single male collected on flower buds of Rubus idaeus. There's certain ambiguity with this species in Zaitzev (1994), since in the description it's indicated that proboscis reaches beyond apices of cx3 (and it does), while in the key below bilineata is included in the group with shorter mouthparts.
