Please, help with determination.
NPR Žebracka, Moravia, The Czech Republic
found on 2.6.2009, body lenght about 15 mm

You caught the beautiful wasp-mimic
Temnostoma bombylans. A female, using her front legs as 'antennae' :)

One of the things that really got me clinched to syrphids. Temnostoma's even mimicing wasps in their behaviour!
I think the first time i saw them do it, the only thing that went through my mind for the next few hours was "waaaaaw!!!"

At least 3 other perfect wasp-mimics are flying at the moment as well:
Doros profuges,
Ceriana conopsoides and
Temnostoma vespiforme...
