Hi,

Is this fly Chrysopilus cristatus ?
Picture taken last thursday in Eneille (BE).

Looking at the golden hairs on the abdomen and the very slight build, I'd suggest Chrysopilus asiliformis

Not with such a dark thorax, I'd say.
