Hi, I found this 2-3 mm long one on sycamore tree, near tree sap. Drosophilidae? Diastatidae? Other?

Nice photo!
I collect these a lot (80 specimens sofar this year) in my beer trap (hanging in an oak tree). If the mesopleuron is bare then it is probably Periscelis annulata. In my beer trap I collected one specimen of Periscelis winnertzi (mesopleuron with hairs). The rest is all P. annulata. P. winnertzi is also bigger than P. annulata.

The mesopleuron in these images appears to be bare, so I would say P. annulata.

And did it get to the gallery? I can submit it again if needed. Regards, Walter

There are no waiting Periscelis pictures in the list to be admitted to the Gallery...
