Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Green muscid?

At first I thought this was a dull Lucilia but I noticed the dusting and wonder if it is something like one of the green muscids? Seen in southern England today :)

I think it's a female Eudasyphora cyanella. You shouldn't have E. zimini in England.

Ik certainly looks Muscid - see M1.

It might be a worn specimen of Eudasyphora cyanicolor; though this needs confirmation by someone more knowledgable ...

It looks rather like this one I photographed a couple of weeks ago http://www.dipter...d_id=21667. The hard part is deciding whether the eyes are hairy; although, according to my limited research, the white dusting at the front of the dorsum suggests cyanella.
