Thread subject: Diptera.info :: big Bibio non marci

Hi,
Here is another Bibio female from 23 April, seen in a nature reserve east of Berlin. It was very big, but it is no B. marci. ID is appreciated.

More pics. The tibiae are slighly brownish.

Tibial spurs of fore leg seem to be equally long: Bibio leucopterus (female).

Aha. And there is that other species with more or less equal spurs, though small
