Found sitting on a boulder on the beach ,partaking in a bit of rare spring sunshine. Very unwilling to sit for photo's so I only have 1 shot...tell me it's not an Anthomyiidae :|. Even if you have to lie.

Roger - I certainly wouldn't tell you it's Anthomyiidae - looks like
Fucellia, though ... :D

Fucellia sp. (so far) is better than un-known Anthomyiidae.
You never know..might even get to species..that would be a first :).
Got 2 on checklist.
F.fucorum and
F.maritima

Fucellia fucorum! Black tibiae, maritima and tergina have yellowish tibiae. F. fucorum is commoner on Sccottish coasts than further south.
