Is this Gymnosoma rotundatum? Or just one of the commoner species like dolycoridis/clavatum.

Talk for yourself ! Clavatum is very rare here, and Chris has never seen it in Britain.
But indeed, this is a female clavatum.

I think it is one of the common species here. Plenty of similar images to come.

It has been recorded from the Channel Isles but we have never had it on the mainland :( I do seem to have quite a few though from southern/eastern Europe :)
