Hello flyforum,
I am not sure if this is Tachinidae.
The M1 vein in the wings is bounded, but that is not enough I'm afraid..
Under the head I can see two palps(?), or what are they?

Hi Robert - yes it is a tachinid ... and those are palps ... but I am not sure which species it is. To get an identification we need to see the scutellar bristles, tergites and facial hairs a lot better. :)

Generally true.
In this case however, I can ID the species positively as Epicampocera succincta. Based on the general dark, slightly bluish colouration, clubby black palpi and bended third antennal segment (syn. = curvicornis !!)
A common species, predominantly in Pieris
