Hi,
I was hoping someone could identify the following photo. It was taken in Swifts Creek, Victoria, Australia in November 2007. Specimen is approx 15mm in size

Apidae... i think..
You should see the sitcky post. It is not allowed to upload wasps photos to avoid many non-diptera threads. :)

Pierred, the Apoidea have the first article of the tarse and the tibia widened! B)also in Australia!
