Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Unfamiliar yet very characteristic

Same location (and aspen log) as in http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=1909#post_7792.
Size 5-6mm I believe. When shooting, I initially took these interesting antennae for its forelegs stretched forward.
Sorry for quality, that's the only image :(.
