Thought I was finished with Syrphids, but came across this 1 photo of a Syrphid with a very white face and I don't know where to stick it (polite replies only).

Maybe Meliscaeva?....auricollis???
OR more likely Eupeodes corollae

Thanks Stephane..the one and only sighting in my garden all summer. ;) Is it possible to say to species level? S.pyrastri or S. selenitica,are the only two on my Checklist.
