Hi Xespok

You did a great job in finding 'ordinary' Tachinidae.
However, these are very difficult to ID.

1. = Phorocera obscura, most likely

3. could be Cyzenis albicans ?

4 = fresh specimen, can't tell

5 = a Carcelia (many species)

rest = ??

Sorry, not so many positive ID's this time

Thx Theo,

There are other views for a few of these on my new web site.

As you noted, nr. 4 was just emerging from a heap of timber. This image was taken in a beech forest.
