Photographed during summer in my garden eating Garden Geranium. Probably something very common.

Roger,

Silver Y (Autographa gamma) is a possibility, but some of the related plusiid moths are very similar.

I'd just about given up on any response on this post..were not my best photo's..wrong DOF settings.:|
Silver Y Moths are very common here so the odds are fairly high that this might be one of their caterpillars.:)
