Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Diptera?

As far as I can understand it is Diptera - only pair of wings and halters.
As far as I can understand antenae is secondary segmented.
Venaition looks new and strange for me.
Turkey, 1700-1800m, near 20mm

That's a Sratiomyidae, probably Stratiomys species.
I have a photo of S potamida > http://www.flickr...18064722/a - you can see the similarity?

Stratiomys ruficornis, a female. I take the liberty to add it to the Diptera Gallery. :)
