Hello,

Here is a moth photographied at Sherbrooke, Quebec (near Vermont) last June.

I think it is a moth from the geometridae family. But which one???

Any idea???

Thanks again,

Michel

Hydriomena (Geometridae, Larentiinae)? Please check Moths of Canada, http://www.cbif.g...ndex_e.php.

Hello Black,

Thank you very much for your help!

You are definitvely right with the genus Hydriomena.

In finally identified it correctly as Hydriomena divisaria (Transversebanded Looper)

Cheers!

Michel
