Netherlands, Steenwijk, Woldberg. 26-9-2008. On fungi on dead tree.
This male Suillia spec is not S. flava i think, since it has - unlike the one in the gallery - two spines at the katepisternum.
I''ll add some details witch may give possibility to identify. There is no dorsal view of spines at frontedge of wing, but they look relatively short to me.

Yes , something interseting but...
Please tell me if the two katepisternals are on both sides.
and the best way for species ID the detalis of terminalia( shape of gonostylus).

I have no collection, just pictures, so i have no info about the leftside or details of terminalia.
I start to believe that the value of pictures is very limited.
Are there no additional features in groups of closely related species, such as the postition of spines on legs, thorax etc, which are (in combination) unique for a species?
Or is it an aberrant example of something:)

It could be an aberrant example of Suillia bicolor (snall costal spines along the costa and small hook at fore basitarsus (if my glasses are correct !) B)
