Thread subject: Diptera.info :: not Muscidae..

hi flyforum,

It looked a bit like Phaonia, but arista is bare and I can see interfrontal setae.
What kind of species is this?
Head is a bit small, is my opinion..
Something is wrong with the first leg..

size: ~10mm
on bark, in Amsterdam forest

Robert, as your pictures names suggest, this is Thricops... diaphanus. ;)
