I could find a very similar fly on the site members.home.nl/b.hamers/Diptera. I might be
Paykullia maculata. Could semebody confirm?
Thanks in advance,
Mariki

Seems correct to me, but I'm no expert. Change the title to "Rhinophoridae: Paykullia maculata?". That will attract the attention of the experts. Strange enough this species is not yet included in the gallery. So if your identification turns out to be correct (which I expect) please add the picture to the gallery.
