Hello !
I found this fly today on the inflorescence of Apiaceae species (first of all
Seseli annuum). Its flight was relative slow.
Size: 6-8mm; Locality: NW-Hungary; Habitat: loessal hill, dry steppe vegetation
Is it identifiable from these two pictures?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris and thank you for the help.
The species is not identifiable?
I see (named) female specimen only about
E. leucoptera in the gallery, which seems different to my fly.
Thank you in advance.

That is correct. This is either crassipennis or oblonga, but it is not leucoptera.
See previous threads on Ectophasia.
