Hi, can this be a Phaonia species ? September 29. 2008 Helsinki, Finland.

It looks like a Phaonia of subventa group. How many posterior setae on mid tibia ?

Thank's Stephane. The fly is having an acetone bath so I will have a look tomorrow.

Ok, the key ends to bitincta or subventa and there are only 2 setae on mid tibia so it must be subventa.
