Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Red eyed Tachinid

Hello!

At first I thought this was a small Sarcophagid (size of a house fly, about 6-7 mm), but it is much too spiny. Found today at a hedge (northwest Germany).

Thanks! I was not even sure, if it was really a Tachinid (but had no idea, what else, did not believe it to be a Sarcophagid).
