Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Pretty conopid to ID

This beautiful fly was yesterday in Juslibol, very near Zaragoza city, Spain, at 200 metyers high, just between dry gypsiferous steppe-lands and dense river forest. Usually I never catch any fly but this one I caught for Jorge M. Almeida, but unfortunately the pot when I have this fly was lost, due to a hole in my bag.
The size of this conopid was about 12 mm. long.
Could be identified?

Thanks,

A Conops?? Abdomen long and not very recurved. Well, I'll let it as C. ceriaeformis with doubts...
Thanks!

I think an error in the code that parses the img tags. I'll look into it (or rather, have someone look into it).

Thanks a lot Paul!

Some hours ago any of the two images was seen in the thread. Fortunately and thank to you, now I saw the two pics.

Congratulations for the new look of D.I. (ith Jorge Motal Almeida favourite family at the head!)
