Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rivellia syngenesiae by P. Beuk and Nosferatumyia

This painted-winged fly was some days ago in the Catalonian pyrenees in a zone of marshes covered with rushes? (Phragmites australis). Can be identified?

Rivellia (Platystomatidae). Don't know if there are any other than syngenesiae in that area.

Leif Lyneborg also described R. hispanica, but this one seems to be R. syngenesiae, indeed
