Hello flyreaders,

This beautiful Tephritidae sp. visit my hand this afternoon.
What kind of Tephritidae sp. is this?

and what could be the hostplant? (it's not my hand! ;))

Hi Robert,

It is Tephritis hyoscyami.
Its hostplants are several types of Carduus species.
