Hi, any suggestions where to put this one ? Is it Sciomyzidae at all ? August 8. 2008 Helsinki, Finland.

It isn't Sciomyzidae.
May be Neoleria inscripta?

Thank You Nikita :) For some reason Heleomyzidae are difficoult for me to know even in family level.

I think it's Lauxaniidae, maybe Pseudolyciella (it seems there is neither vibrissae nor costal spines).

And now we got it :D After studying the abdomen from under and finding paramere like this, I believe we are looking at Pseudolyciella stylata :) Sometimes it takes time to learn. Thank You so much !!

Looks more like Pseudolycellia pallidiventris.

So we will change the name once more :D I only had stylata and picture taken from the paramere. We have only these two to make choice and I don't have key how to separate Pseudolycellia species. Thank You all of You. Now I have both of them :)

Hi, Pseudolyciella pallidiventris is correct. Jan, are you interested in Lauxaniidae more, did you write some paper about Lauxaniidae?
