Hi, this Opomyzidae has no shade on crossweins like my hackmani had. July 30. 2008 Loviisa, Finland malaise in my garden.

Thank god for question marks :) This is Mycetaulus bipunctatus (Piophilidae) ! It looks a bit like an illegitimate crossbreed of Sepsidae and Opomyzidae, doesn't it?

PS. Nice pics Jari, and nice flies. It is always great to see people pay attention to the smaller flies B)
