Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Very tiny chloropid

13th July 2008. In my garden, Zaragoza, NE Spain at 200 meters, continental-mediterranean climate, in Mentha suaveolens leaves. Looks like a Thaumatomyia but even smaller: maybe 1 mm. long.

Can be identified?

Not Thaumatomyia. Similar flies are very common (but difficult to spot) in Hungary. I could not yet find out what genus they belong to.

Only Gaurax in Spain is Gaurax gauracicornis.
Only Lasiosina is L. albipila, not cinctipes.
What of the two names is the most probably?
