Yesterday night at light (northwest Germany), about 7-8 mm.

Thanks! I can't remember to have seen
P. pallida with such dark markings on the thorax. Here some pics from a specimen in our garden yesterday.

Hi J?rgen, there are all
Phaonia pallida : 2 strong pairs of presutural ac, long plumose arista, densely long haired eyes, this combination rule out the other mostly yellow species (Thricops diaphanus, Helina montana). Males can occasionally have some dark vittae on scutum (though these specimens have strong and dark ones).
You already found this
one with such pattern.
