Hello!

Is it Calliphora vicina or something other? If possible to say from this photo, of course. In my garden, Hungary. Thank you in advance.

To identify the fat blue ones, you need a good side view of head and thorax. If cheeks brown and beard black (and spiracle brown) it is Calliphora vicina. If cheeks dark and beard red (and spiracle dark) it is C. vomitoria. Compare the gallery pics! A top view isn't helpful.

Thank you very much for the help and enlightenment. And what about Melinda species? I always try to find one but I haven't encountered with them so far.
