Hi, I've found this diptera in Milan (Italy) some days ago.
Someone know the name?
(if you know, please tell me also the name of the other diptera you see in the photo :D)

Cylindromyia bicolor (Tachinidae), I think.

The red & black one is certainly a
Cylindromyia sp. but I couldn't say more - the abdomen looks too dark for
bicolor. I don't see enough of the other fly but it is possibly a
Meigenia sp., but that's just a guess.

Plaese include the images in the post. It is such a hassle to open new windows to do the identifications. ;)
